From the way Sho was talking I got the feeling he was like a father telling his kids about meeting Arriety and how he never forgot her over the years. You don't have to see someone to still be friends with them. You never know Arriety could have convinced her parents and some other Borrowers to hitch a ride with Sho to go be where he lives because she knows they'd all be safe around him and wouldn't actually have to hide. ^_^
I really like Sho. I want him and Arrietty to be close friends and the Borrowers would worked things out living with the human boy in secret. And him giving them the doll house to live in. It's like when you're a different race or culture and when the other races /cultures spots you, then you must flee and continue to hide.
Some sequels might not be good, but at least they don't leave you off at cliffhangers or leave you off with a lame ending like the first original films.
Yeah like I said, if only they make sequels. Well the original author did, but if only Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli would make sequels to some of their movies. Though I do kinda wish that Sho would magically shrink or Arrietty's family would grow into actual human sizes. But in my dreams. -sighs- I wonder Miyazaki will make movies from American Novels. Him and his crew always make movies from British novels.
